These days, poetry finds its audience through short, powerful snippets on social media, especially on platforms like Instagram.
Many poets have risen to prominence through these digital spaces, turning their raw, heartfelt words into global movements. Inspired by these trailblazers, countless emerging poets (some already celebrated, some yet to be known) share their heartfelt lines across social media, hoping to strike a chord with readers like you and me. I often come across poetry on Pinterest and Instagram by poets and wordsmiths who aren’t very well known yet, but their words (even just a single line or a few carefully chosen words paired with artistic and beautiful visuals) have a way of staying with me.
They hit differently—raw, real, and deeply resonant. My phone is practically flooded with these gems I can’t help but save!
As someone who breathes in the beauty of words and finds solace in poetry, I couldn’t help but think, “These voices deserve to be heard!” Their poetry, even in its simplicity, carries an emotion that lingers long after the screen has dimmed.
While I’m sure they’ll soon have the spotlight they deserve, I felt a strong urge to share their soulful lines here on my blog—a little tribute from one word-lover to another.
